Getting Started

First Launch & OAuth Authorization

On first launch you will see the Welcome / OAuth screen. Pulse AI uses OAuth 2.0 (3-legged) via Atlassian to authorise access to your site's data.

OAuth Steps

  1. Click Connect with Atlassian on the Welcome screen.
  2. You will be redirected to an Atlassian authorisation page listing the scopes Pulse AI requires.
  3. Review the scopes and click Accept.
  4. You are redirected back to Pulse AI. Run your first scan using the Run Scan button in the top bar.
  5. Wait for the scan to complete (progress shown in the top bar).

Warning: OAuth must be completed before any data is visible. If you see an empty Dashboard after OAuth, click Run Scan (top bar) to trigger the first full sync manually.

What OAuth Grants

Pulse AI requests read-only access to your Jira instance data - projects, issues, users, groups, workflows, schemes, and configurations. No data is written to Jira during scans. All findings are stored in the Pulse AI backend (MongoDB).
