Connect with Third-party Apps

Current State

Time Tracking, Resource Planning & Project Management currently operates as a self-contained Jira Cloud app. It reads from and writes to Jira directly - there are no native connectors to third-party apps at this time.

Data Export for Third-party Use

For teams that need to get data into external tools, the app provides export options:

CSV Export

Available in:

• Time Tracking → Report Builder → Export button → CSV
• Backlog Prioritization → Backlog Table → Export → CSV

CSV exports include all columns visible in the current report/view. Use these to import data into:

• Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for custom analysis
• Business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) via file import
• ERP or billing systems that accept CSV uploads

PDF Export

Available in:

• Time Tracking → Report Builder → Export button → PDF
• Exports include the report table and any charts

Jira Saved Filters as Integration Points

Jira saved filters can be used to create a shared data boundary:

1. Create a Jira saved filter using JQL that defines your portfolio scope
2. Use that saved filter as the portfolio scope in Portfolio Management
3. Other teams or tools (dashboards, automation) that also use the same saved filter stay in sync with the portfolio scope

Integration requests are reviewed by the product team and prioritized based on demand.
