Columns & Date Range
Control which data appears in the report and scope the analysis to a specific time window.
Columns Configuration
The Columns section lets you choose exactly which data appears in the report table.
Issue Fields
Toggle which issue-level fields appear as columns:
- Key, Summary, Assignee, Status, Issue Type
- Any custom fields available in your Jira instance
Status Columns
Select which workflow statuses appear as time columns in the report:
| Option | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Auto | Includes all statuses that appear in the data - no manual selection needed |
| All | Includes every status in your Jira instance |
| Custom | You pick exactly which statuses to show |
Tip: Use Custom selection to keep the report focused. For a bug-tracking report, show only "To Do → In Progress → QA → Done" and hide everything else.
Status Column Ordering
Drag statuses in the column list to match your workflow order left to right. This makes the table read like a process flow rather than an alphabetical list.
Date Range
Scope the analysis to a specific time window - only issues matching the date criteria will appear.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| All | No date restriction - analyze the full history of matching issues |
| Past 7 / 30 / 60 / 90 Days | Rolling time window ending today |
| This / Last Week | Calendar-based weekly windows |
| This / Last Month | Calendar-based monthly windows |
| Custom Range | Pick an exact from-date and to-date |
Which Date Field Is Used?
The date range filter applies to the issue's selected date field - you can choose:
- Created - filter by when the issue was created
- Updated - filter by when the issue was last updated
- Resolved - filter by when the issue was resolved
- Due - filter by the issue due date
Tip: Use "Past 30 Days" + Created to analyze how recently created issues flow through your process. Use "Past 90 Days" + Resolved to analyze recently completed work.
