Global Config (Priorities & Filters)
Navigate to Configurations → Global Config. The group expands to Priorities and Filters sub-items.
Priorities
Key Findings: Unused priorities (note: Jira prevents deletion of any priority ever used on an issue). Naming drift across priority names.
Filters
| Finding | Description |
|---|---|
| Invalid JQL | Silently failing filters. |
| Dead Owner | Filter owned by a deactivated user. |
| Publicly Shared | Filter has global share permissions. |
| Unused | No boards, dashboards, or subscriptions referencing this filter. |
Tip: Transfer ownership of filters with a dead owner before deleting the owner account. Deleting a filter that powers a board will break that board's backlog view.
