Saved Prioritized Reports

Saved Prioritized Reports capture a snapshot of the backlog scoring at a specific point in time, creating a historical record of how issues were ranked before each sprint or planning cycle.

What a Saved Report Preserves

Saving a Report

  1. Open Backlog Table
  2. Configure project, scoring template, and filters
  3. Score the issues (all or a subset)
  4. Click Save Report in the toolbar
  5. Enter a descriptive report name (e.g., "Sprint 12 Planning - 2025-07-01")
  6. Click Confirm

The report appears in the Saved Reports section of the sidebar.

Opening a Saved Report

  • Click Saved Reports in the sidebar
  • Click any report name to open the snapshot
  • The report displays the metric values and scores as they were at the time of saving
  • Current Jira issue data (status, assignee) may differ from the snapshot

Managing Saved Reports

Tips

  • Adopt a consistent naming convention: [Sprint/Quarter] - [Date] (e.g., "Q3 Sprint 5 - 2025-08-12")
  • Save a report before AND after sprint planning to record both the pre-planning ranking and the committed selection
  • Saved reports are shared - all team members with access to the project can view them
